From La Guardia Airport:
Take the M60 bus to Lenox (Sixth) Avenue and 125th Street. From there it is a five minute walk to the bed and breakfast.
Cost: $2.75 in coins or metrocard. Time: 30 minutes on the bus. Extra for waiting and walking Alternate option: A yellow cab costs about $25 + plus tolls ($5). Time: 15 – 20 minutes.From John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport:
Take Airtrain $5 to the subway station at Jamaica.From Jamaica: take the E train to 42nd Street. Walk underground for a block and a half to the 2 or 3 line. Take the uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street.
Exit on Lenox Avenue, walk three blocks to 121st Street.
Cost: $2.25 Time: Door-to-door = approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.Alternate route: Taxi from the airport. Cost: $45 (flat fee) + toll ($5). Time: 35 – 40 minutes. Tell the driver to take the Triborough/RFK Bridge.I don’t recommend the Supershuttle when coming from the airport, as it takes about 2 hours to 3 hours to get here and drops everyone else off first. You can however reserve it and have it pick you up for your return trip to the airport.

From Newark International Airport:
Option 1: Take the Olympia bus to the Port Authority bus terminal at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue (about 30 – 45 minutes depending on traffic). Then walk along 42nd Street from Eighth Avenue to Seventh Avenue (Times Square). Take the Uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. From there it is about a five minute walk to bed and breakfast.
Cost of bus: $15, Cost of subway: $2.75, or you could catch a cab from midtown (42nd Street): about $15.

Option 2: Take the AirTrain/NJ transit to New York Penn Station (about 35 minutes). Transfer to the Uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. From there it is about a five minute walk to bed and breakfast.
Cost of train: $15, Cost of subway: $2.75

Option 3: Take any cab, which can cost from $50 – $70 (plus tolls $11). Be careful with this option, as the cab drivers from New Jersey may not know the City that well and your fare may get even higher. Very expensive option.

Option 4: Set up a pick-up by Carmel Limo Cost $43 – $50 (depending on time of day), tolls ($11) and tip not included.

From Port Authority Bus Terminal:
Walk one block to 42nd Street and Broadway/7th Avenue. Take the 2 or 3(Uptown) train to 116th Street. From there walk 4 blocks north approximately 5 minutes to bed and breakfast.

From downtown by subway:
Take the 2 or 3 (Uptown) train to 116th Street. Walk up Lenox Avenue, turn right on West 120th Street. Make sure you do not take the 1 or 9 train.

Metrocard Information:
Metrocards can be bought in any denomination more than $2.25. In addition there is a daily $8.25 Metrocard (unlimited rides for the day you first use it), a weekly metrocard for $27. If you buy a regular metrocard for $20, you get 15% additional added to the face value of your card, i.e. 10 trips for the price of 9 with $0.50 balance.
